On December 8, 2004, President George W. Bush signed into law Public Law 108-447, which established September 17th as Constitution Day, and requires an educational program in all federally funded institutions for K-12 grades.

Constitution --On September 17, 1787, the delegates to the Constitutional Convention met for the last time to sign the document they had created. The National Archives and Records Administration celebrates this important day in our nation's history by presenting activities, lesson plans, and information.
