Social Studies Center
At the the Social Studies Center, students spend quality, independent practice time reading and using a variety of maps. They also practice using globes, grids, and the tools of geography.
Today’s students need to be well informed about the world around them. Knowing the basic skills of geography and map use will help students improve their sense of location, place, and movement.
