Independent Reading Center

In the Independent Reading Center, students read a book of their own choice. The students write the title, author, and page numbers in their Notebook. Then they complete a task card. Students can also take an Accelerated Reader test on books they read during Independent Reading.

Reading Response Cards for Fiction and Nonfiction
Print the Reading Response Cards for Fiction and Nonfiction on two different colors of paper. Cut the cards apart and put each set on a separate ring.
