Bubble Bomb!
The Scientist of the Week makes a Bubble Bomb using baking soda, water, and vinegar. The bag is filled with water and vinegar. The baking soda is wrapped in a paper towel and placed in the sealed bag. When the baking soda reacts with the vinegar, it releases bubbles and the bag explodes. The bubbles in the Bubble Bomb are filled with carbon dioxide, a gas that forms when the vinegar (an acid) reacts with the baking soda (a base).
