We are using the Florida Science Fusion textbook.
Online Textbook
Our science textbook is available online at ThinkCentral. You must log in using a user name and password. See me if you need to know your child's user name and password. Once you are logged in, My Library gives you access to the online version of the text and other materials.
Sunshine State Standards
We will study various topics including animal groups, plants, the sun and the stars, properties of matter, the water cycle, heat, light, and gravity.
Although we are using a science textbook for many topics, I believe in providing many opportunities for safe and exciting science experiments to get students involved in their own learning.
Grading
Grades will be taken from participation, activities, projects, reports, and tests.
